Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Kenneth P. Clark

Dr. Ken Clark is a graduate of Tulane University and the Illinois College of Optometry. He completed his residency in Ocular disease and low vision rehabilitation at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in West Haven, Connecticut. Since 1998 he has provided complete eye care services at Rochester Eye Care Associates, with a special interest in glaucoma and dry eye disease diagnosis and management. When he is away from the office, Dr. Ken enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children, playing golf and skiing.

Dr. Sarah J. Bigda

Dr Sarah J. Bigda, OD graduated from University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a degree in Biology. Dr Bigda went on the attend New England College of Optometry in Boston where she was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa honors society. During her time at the New England College of Optometry Dr Bigda was awarded the AAOF Award of Excellence in Contact Lens Patient Care. Dr Bigda provides complete eye care services with a special focus on hard to fit contacts and the diagnosis and treatment of dry eye disease. When Dr Bigda is away from the office she enjoys spending time at the lake and exploring the New England area.

Dr. Alex Gruber

Dr. Alex Gruber is a dedicated optometrist who graduated with his Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry (NECO) in 2024. With a passion for enhancing vision and eye health, Dr. Gruber specializes in the diagnosis and management of dry eye conditions. His focus on this area stems from his commitment to improving patient comfort and quality of life through personalized care and innovative treatments.

Dr. Gruber gained invaluable experience in pediatric optometry during his time at the Floating Hospital for Children, where he developed a keen understanding of the unique needs of young patients. His ability to connect with children and their families has become a hallmark of his practice, ensuring that all patients receive compassionate and effective care.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Gruber enjoys an active lifestyle, embracing the outdoors through skiing and hiking with his wife and their beloved dog, Daisy. He also finds joy in cooking, often experimenting with new recipes and culinary techniques.

Dr. Gruber’s dedication to both his patients and his personal interests underscores his commitment to a balanced and fulfilling life. His combination of expertise in dry eye treatment and experience with pediatric care positions him as a compassionate and skilled optometrist, ready to serve the diverse needs of his patients.
